A single-page website costs $750 to set up while a multi-page website costs $1,500 to set up. All of our sites have a $75/mo hosting fee. Pages can be added for an additional $250 per page, and adding one does not change your monthly fee. View our pricing page to see a full breakdown of services and prices.
Your website requires a $75 monthly hosting fee that covers everything needed to keep it online and healthy: hosting on our own servers, your SSL certificate, security updates and server maintenance, uptime monitoring, domain management, nightly backups, and your monthly analytics report. There is nothing else to buy and no separate hosting account to manage.
Hosting will be charged monthly on the 1st or the 15th. Your recurring fee will be on the 1st if your site goes live between the 1st and the 15th, and on the 15th if it goes live between the 16th and the end of the month. Hosting will begin the month after your site goes live.
ArkenSites offers a different product, not a cheaper version of the same one. Websites can be expensive to make and take a long time to produce, especially when custom functionality, ecommerce, or backend systems get involved. ArkenSites builds websites with a professional presence that are affordable, can go live quickly, and give your business a solid foundation to grow on. We’ve partnered with VisionAmp to provide advanced, customized solutions when your needs grow beyond what ArkenSites is designed to offer.
A single-page site (or a landing page) is best if you don’t have a lot of content and just need a quick page to send users to, or if budget and time is a concern. A multi-page site gives you more pages to go into detail about your business, giving leads a better idea of who you are and what you do. You are not locked into either one, we can add pages later, so starting small does not mean you have to start over!
Absolutely! Pages are priced à la carte at $250 each, so you only pay for what you need, and adding one does not change your monthly fee. Starting with a landing page and building on it whenever you need to is a great way to build a web presence without breaking the bank.
Not at all. Managing and maintaining your domain is included at no charge past the initial domain purchase fee, and if you would like, we can purchase and set the domain up for you. We recommend using Cloudflare due to its reliability and security.
Your domain name is incredibly important. It should be short, easy to remember, and contain your company’s name. If your company is John’s Donuts, JohnsDonuts.com will serve you far better than FindDonutsLocallyByJohn.com.
If you already have a domain, that’s great! We will just need your login information so we can hook your new site up to it.
If you already have a website and are upgrading to an ArkenSites website, then first and foremost we are thrilled and excited to work with you! We will keep your current website live until you’re ready to launch the new one, and then we will handle the switch on our end.
Our process is four simple steps. First, we meet (in person, over the phone, or on Zoom) to work out what you need. Secondly, we build the site around the information we gathered from that meeting. Next, we populate the test site with your images and content. This is usually the longest step, because crafting creative and custom content is what’s going to set you apart. Finally, we launch your new site on a date you choose, and actively monitor the site once it is live to ensure it performs the way you want.
While we like to say we can build a site in a day, realistically it takes two to four weeks for a website to get built. It all comes down to communication and how effectively we can get content for the site.
Not at all! While content is crucial for setting your site apart from others, and no one will know your business like you do, we’d be happy to help. We offer content writing for $50 per page, and all we need to know from you is what the page needs to be about.
Yes we can! We offer three different logo products: vectorizing an existing logo, creating a simple logo, and doing a full brand design. Vectorizing a logo costs $150, and we would take an existing logo and turn it into vector art, making your logo much more web friendly. Creating a simple logo costs $250, and we would design a text+icon logo that helps your brand stand out. Think along the lines of Nike or Apple. Lastly, we offer a full logo design option at $1,000. We take your ideas and our experience, then work hand in hand to build a unique and memorable brand that lasts a lifetime.
Your business listing is what someone sees when they search for your business on a web browser. They’ll see your company name, hours, address, and phone number. A lot of business owners either never set one up, or they set one up once and never touch it again. We can set up your listing for $250, and can even monitor it for an additional $10 a month. We will follow up as often as you like (semi-annually or annually) to remind you to keep them current, and if you give us access we can make the updates for you.
Yes it will! On average, 60-80% of visits to a website now come from a mobile device, so every ArkenSites design is built for phones, tablets, laptops and desktops from the start.
Ranking well takes three things, and we handle one of them. Search engine optimization is our job, and is built into every site we make. At launch we connect Google Search Console and submit your sitemap to ensure that Google can read and list your site accordingly. The next important factor is content that is accurate, useful, up-to-date, and unique to your business. That’s where you come in! And the last piece of the puzzle is time. If your site just launched, it’s competing with every other website similar to yours for a spot on page one. After a few months it will start to rank better, and after a year or two it should be working even better!
Every site we build comes with Google Analytics, and we build a page onto your site for this data at yourdomain.com/site-analytics. The page will update itself on the first of every month using the previous 30 days of data, so there is nothing to log into and nothing to run. That address is not in your navigation and does not appear in search results, but it is not password protected either, so we ask that you treat it like a private link. If you want to dig deeper, just let us know and we’d be happy to pull a more detailed report for you!
Security is incorporated into every site we build, and something we value just as much as a well-performing site (if not more). Every website gets an SSL certificate, server hardening, input validation and sanitation, regular updates, rate limiting, and system monitoring.
A widget pulls live content from somewhere else onto your site. It could be an Instagram feed to show off your photography, a Facebook feed to keep users in the loop, or a weather widget that displays conditions in your area for a golf clubhouse. Setup is free and each widget is $20 a month. They are entirely optional. Tell us what you would like and we will make it happen!
