At ArkenSites, we strive to make the web building process an easy and efficient one. On this page, you’ll find all of the information you need to ensure that the process goes smoothly. From your domain, to content creation, we’ve outlined what you can bring to the table, and how we will use it to forge a site for you unlike any other!

  1. 1. Domain

    Your site won’t exist if you don’t have a domain name, and one that’s easy to remember is crucial. We recommend using Cloudflare to purchase a domain, but if you’re unsure of how to do that we can handle that part for you, no problem!

  2. 2. Pitch

    A good business pitch can be the difference in a sale or not, but it also helps us understand your business and how your website should flow. If you don’t have a pitch, no problem, we made a quick questionnaire to help you out.

  3. 3. Content

    We make a lot of websites, and while we can help you write content for your site, the more you can create the better! It also helps if you can bring any photography you’ve already got. Click below for a quick checklist of what all we will need.

  4. 4. Contract

    The last and final thing we will need before we work together is a signed client contract. This is something that we will fill out and send it to you for a signature, but if you’re curious what it looks like we’ve provided a link to an example below.

Stock Photography Sites

The biggest thing aside from colors and logo that sets apart one site from another is photography. While custom photography will always be better than stock photography, it’s not always easy to get. We’ve provided a few links to stock sites that we like using. Unsplash and Pexels both provide good free options, while Adobe Stock has a very large selection of paid options.

Need Content?

Writing & Editing Tools

Content is another part of your website that makes it unique. It’s your chance to pitch your business, make your business sound appealing, and draw in new clients. Writing content isn’t always easy, and sometimes a spelling or grammar check is helpful. Google Docs is a great free tool for writing and proofing your content. If it’s creativity you’re struggling with, Grammarly and ChatGPT are great AI tools that can help spruce up your content.
